Ian Davenport

I am a contemporary, expressive landscape artist working in oils. I live in Tickhill and take my inspiration from my travels through the South Yorkshire countryside. I exhibit locally and happy to discuss commissions.

Graduate with a BA in Fune Arts & Crafts summer 2023.

What's your favourite thing about what you do?

I am at my happiest working outside, inspired by the landscape and painting en plein air, absorbed in the moment, expressing how I feel. I love working on commissions and the moment when I hand over the finished piece and see the clients reaction. I also get a fantastic sense of achievement seeing my work exhibited in a public space.
